Code Vein is a gripping game set in a shattered world. At the center of this destruction lies a hidden society of survivors called the Vein. Those who remain fight for survival, acquiring Gifts of Power in exchange for their memories and an ever-growing thirst for blood. The player risks completely succumbing to bloodlust and becoming one of the Lost. The game features demonic ghouls, stripped of all humanity, who wander aimlessly in search of blood. Team up and journey to the ends of hell to uncover your past and escape the nightmare in CODE VEIN.
Game structure
Code Vein is an action RPG that incorporates the Souls combat system, reimagined in a refined and highly visible anime style, highly prized and sought after by Bandai Namco fans.
Team Shift has effectively introduced a gauge that fills by dodging or attacking an enemy. When full, Revenant enters a "concentration" state: this makes it much more difficult to throw the character off-balance, while they tend to debilitate attackers with incredible ease. This state—which can also be exploited by enemies—promotes the use of the metal tail to lift enemies high or unleash devastating drain attacks.
