A Way Out is a multi-platform action adventure game. The game is designed exclusively for co-op play. You play as two prisoners who are desperate to escape prison.

Co-op mode only

The key feature of this game is the need for coordinated teamwork between players. Otherwise, it's simply impossible to complete. You and your "colleague" will need to coordinate actions and complement each other. For example, in some cases, you might need to distract a guard while the other player sneaks behind him and attempts to reach a "forbidden area." In other cases, you'll need to fight back so your partner can deliver a devastating blow at the right moment. And there are countless such possibilities.

Sometimes, you'll have to work separately altogether. At any moment, it could happen that one player is watching a cutscene while the other is wandering around the location searching for a key item. Even more interesting is that the characters have completely different stories, although they occasionally intersect.

A mix of different genres

The game combines several genres. Sometimes you'll play in a quest-style pixel hunt, while other times you'll be fighting enemies by rapidly pressing the right buttons.

The graphics are top-notch. The environments are meticulously crafted, the physics are incredibly realistic, the cinematic scenes are beautiful, and the characters are colorful and animated. You simply can't help but be immersed in the atmosphere.
