Eternal Afternoon is an atmospheric narrative walking sim with an open-world setting and hidden events, set in the final moments before a catastrophe. Sasha emerges onto the street of her neighborhood and walks between the panel buildings as a huge dark wave rises over the city. The neighborhood appears calm, almost serene.
Quiet streets
The neighborhood can be explored in various ways: through courtyards, entrances, narrow paths between buildings, or along a road with occasional cars. Ordinary everyday scenes are encountered—people at entrances, conversations near stores, children on the playground. Everything seems like a day like any other.
But in some places, strange details appear. Objects lie where they shouldn't, conversations sound ambiguous, familiar places suddenly feel unsettling. These elements gradually connect and hint at a hidden history within the familiar neighborhood.
