The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot is a fantasy action game that quickly becomes more than just a princess rescue. At first, it seems like a typical adventure with swords, castles, and guards, but then a fight ensues, where an enemy is sent flying into spikes after a kick, another is set on fire by a thrown torch, and a third is actually hit in the head by his own comrade, who was thrown at him just seconds earlier.

If something is standing nearby, it is already a weapon.

The local levels are literally chock-full of things you can kill someone with. Barrels, tables, lamps, boxes, ladders, chasms—the game constantly encourages the most absurd and brutal showdowns possible, rather than the usual sword-swiping. Moreover, many situations work completely differently than you'd expect, making the fights feel lively and constantly giving rise to some new, idiotic moment.
