Age of Empires II HD Edition is a remaster of the 1999 strategy game, featuring all missions from both the original Age of Kings and the Conquerors expansion. Players
can also challenge their comrades online. In addition to graphics reworked for 1080p resolution, the developers utilize an enhanced graphics engine with improved texture rendering for earth, water, and fire. Age of Empires II HD Edition utilizes all the features of Steamworks, including achievements, leaderboards, and cloud storage. Players can also create and share their own content via Steam Workshop.
Game Features:
The new version of the game supports screen resolutions of 1920x1080 and higher, as well as the latest versions of Windows and DirectX. The game's graphics engine has been improved, and fire, water, and ground textures have been reworked to accommodate the increased resolution. Dynamic lighting has also been added to the game environment. All campaigns from the original game are present, as well as additional campaigns and features from The Conquerors expansion.
