Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action-adventure game where you play as Batman himself. New adventures await the legendary hero, battling evil and, of course, saving Gotham.
Destroy the Joker's evil plans
According to the story, Batman must escort the Joker, who recently practically surrendered without a fight, through a mental hospital and prison. Within minutes, he not only manages to escape, but also frees almost all the inmates. He has taken over Arkham Asylum and mined the entire city. Now, the Joker wants to create his own army of monsters, and you, as Batman, must stop this madness and restore peace and order to the world.
The gameplay is based on three elements. The first is exploration of the surrounding world, with constant clashes with the bandits the Joker has freed from prison. You'll have to explore numerous locations, pick locks, and much more.
Become a real superhero
The second element is combat. Most often, you'll have to use melee attacks, and sometimes a variety of gadgets. The third element is solving various puzzles, which the developers used to make the game significantly more challenging.
Otherwise, it's simply an action game in which you'll need to complete missions, fight enemies, engage in dialogue with key characters, hunt the main villain, and rescue people.
