He Followed Me is an episodic psychological horror film that tells the story of a man who, after a routine argument, begins to notice disturbing coincidences. An unfamiliar car appears near his work, parks near his home, and appears in the most unexpected places. At first, these occurrences are easily explained away as coincidences, but eventually it becomes clear that someone is indeed watching the protagonist's every move.
Fear comes with familiar things
The game focuses on ordinary life, which gradually begins to feel alien and unsafe. Work shifts, evening walks, and trips through familiar neighborhoods become a source of constant tension. The more often the protagonist encounters signs of surveillance, the more their perception of the world around them changes, where every passerby or parked car arouses suspicion.
Instead of sudden jump scares, the story focuses on a feeling of helplessness and the anticipation of something bad happening. The player must witness how a minor conflict escalates into a situation that goes far beyond the ordinary, everyday trouble. The most frightening thing here is not the unknown, but the realization that a threat could be just around the corner.
