DESCRIPTION:
A jaw-dropping action game, or shooter with RPG elements. The game requires you to shoot zombies with all your might. However, this game is different from other representatives of the "Zombie apocalypse" genre. Here, at least, there is an adequate plot. And the gameplay is somewhat different from the standard.
The plot of the game is based on the fact that a couple is shipwrecked and ends up on an island. It is by no means uninhabited. It does have "residents." However, these residents aren't exactly alive. A virus is raging across the island, turning people into terrifying, bloodthirsty zombies. The protagonist is forced to desperately fight for his life. And it doesn't always work out. On the one hand, the gameplay is reminiscent of classic zombie shooters. On the other, the character development system, dialogue, and other attributes have a distinct RPG feel. And this is what sets Dead Island: Riptide apart from the crowd of zombie shooters.
The graphics are decent. The zombies are drawn with soul. So are the other characters, for that matter. The undead also move quite realistically. And their skulls shatter realistically from a direct hit from a pump-action shotgun. The game is worth checking out because it's unlike other games in the genre and genuinely fun to play.
