Ritter & Rotwein is a medieval adventure featuring physical combat, where noble knights duel, balancing skill and chaos. The player controls a character in full armor, whose movements are governed by unusual physics. Battles demand precision and composure, as any misstep can result in a fall or a loss of advantage.
A test of steel and honor
Each level becomes a test of reaction and control. The character runs, jumps, dodges, and climbs, all while trying to maintain balance and attack opponents. Equipment affects maneuverability: heavy armor provides better protection but slows movement, while lighter gear allows for faster and more agile actions.
As the game progresses, the challenges become more challenging, and the opponents demand ever more precise actions. Between fights, players can recuperate with a sip of wine, but this decision comes with a loss of balance. This choice creates tension in combat, where risk and courage become part of the knightly path.
