Shift At Midnight is a combination of a store management simulator and psychological horror, where an ordinary night shift gradually loses its sense of security. You monitor inventory, receive deliveries, and serve customers, trying to meet your quota before dawn. However, not every customer is human, and a mistake can lead to tragic consequences.
Suspicion in the crowd
Every night, the store operates under new rules, changing the order of events and the clientele. The player can ask up to five questions, examine an ID, and verify information via the terminal. Behavior and small details give away the impersonation, but hesitation gives the threat a chance to escape undetected.
If the double leaves the premises, the survival phase begins. Players must fortify entrances, set traps, and find a safe place until the attack ends. Cooperative play heightens the tension: teamwork and coordination directly impact the outcome of the shift and the chance to see the sunrise.
