Twelve Boxes is a loader simulator with elements of psychological horror, turning an ordinary job into a trap with unpredictable rules. The player repeatedly passes through the house, carrying boxes to the car, and ensures that the surroundings remain the same. Any unnoticed oddity can disrupt the sequence and send the player into a new cycle.
One job - many mistakes
Familiar corridors must be explored almost anew after each delivery, comparing details and trying to figure out what exactly has changed. Anomalies can hide in the most ordinary objects, so haste becomes more dangerous than the darkness itself. To complete the job, you must remain calm, memorize the location of things, and react promptly to anything that deviates from the familiar pattern.
The minimalist task gradually becomes filled with anxiety as the house begins to play with perception and throw up new challenges. There are no complex instructions or a long list of objectives—just twelve boxes, a car outside, and a rule that cannot be broken. The final outcome directly depends on how many times the player allows the cursed place to deceive them.
