Vellar is a first-person psychological horror game where the investigation of a tragedy gradually turns into a journey through your own memories. An old house holds the records of a deceased family, but what you hear increasingly contradicts what you see. As you explore the rooms, you'll piece together the events of the past, trying to understand why what's happening seems eerily familiar.
The house remembers much more than it seems
Each audio recording discovered reveals another fragment of the story and forces you to look at the world around you differently. Distorted rooms, hidden passages, mysterious objects, and puzzles gradually come together to form a coherent picture, where reality is constantly shifting and familiar landmarks cease to function. The deeper you delve, the more difficult it becomes to distinguish true memories from those imposed.
But the house is no longer empty. An ancient entity, bound to an old ritual, watches your every action and becomes increasingly dangerous as the truth unfolds. Exploration requires attentiveness and caution, as even the most inconspicuous object could prove to be part of a story connecting a family tragedy with your own past.
